Ask Celes Section

In the past, I used to have a Ask Celes section, where I answer reader questions, either via email or in the form of blog posts. Shortly after, I removed it as I was getting way too many questions to address personally.
After some thought, I decide to reinstate the Ask Celes section
Since I’m already answering mails on a regular basis (for some reason, people still continue to send in questions even though I already requested not to in the FAQs), I might as well take this to a larger scale and share the questions and answers via blog posts (albeit more elaborated answers).
I think it’s beneficial for everyone – The person asking the question gets to benefit since it’s a much more in-depth answer than I would have written if it’s a private email, and readers of TPEB benefit by drawing insights from others’ experiences. It’s also a chance for TPEB readers to get to know how the other readers are like and what’s on their mind.
There are some set guidelines to take note:
- Please (1) limit to only 1 question per letter (2) Ensure the question isn’t already covered by an existing article or past reader question. Use the search engine in the sidebar to check the past articles. I generally pick questions that (1) reflect general needs of other readers (2) have not been addressed before in any articles at the blog.
- Your question should be kept within 5-6 sentences; i.e. you should be able to provide the background of your situation and ask your question within that. If your question is too complicated to be fit into that, the 1-1 personal coaching program is probably a better fit for your needs.
- If your question is chosen, I will write a blog post in response. Due to the high volume of requests, I will only pick 1 question to answer every 2 weeks. Hence, just because you submitted your question doesn’t mean it will be answered. Sorry! I will not reply to you individually, so you have to check back at the blog to see if your question is featured. Subscribe to the email newsletter so you won’t miss any update.
- By sending your question in, you give me the full permission to publish your question on TPEB. I may edit for clarity’s sake and/or to correct English errors (if any), but the overall message will be left intact. If you would like to remain anonymous, just state that in your message. You are also free to use an alias.
- I’m pretty open about the questions you can ask. Generally anything about us and about life is linked to personal development anyway, so I find it hard to go out of topic. You can ask me personal questions about myself if you want, and I will answer if it’s appropriate.
- Clearly, my replies reflect my personal opinion. Please do not see it as a substitute for psychiatric or medical help. I do not claim my answers are the single truth but I will certainly answer to my best ability and share what I know.
- Questions are to be submitted via the contact form. Choose “Ask Celes” in the drop down box.
This is probably obvious, but note that ultimately, this is only a limited channel for me to offer help. I recommend you to consider my 1-1 personal coaching program, where I’ll work with you on a targeted basis to address your needs and achieve your goals, based on your individual profile. I offer 4 main areas of coaching: (1) Peak Performance Coaching (2) Life Coaching (3) Blog Coaching (4) Career Coaching. Read more in My Coaching Programs.
I look forward to receiving your questions

Note that there are a lot more letter requests than I can address (I receive a few questions a day), and while I try to get to everyone, it’s not possible to answer to every single letter.
