Thanks to everyone who turned up for yesterday’s speech on ‘Money or Passion?’!
To everyone who shared with me about your passion/dreams, keep pursuing them and never give up! It is ONLY a matter of time before things manifest your way, just like they did/are doing for me and everyone else in the world!

To those who read Lianhe Wanbao, I was featured for the 2nd time earlier this month, on 12th July. (Thanks Vincent for keeping a copy of the article!
). While the first feature in May was on my story of how I pursued my passion over money, the article this time was specific to my work as a career coach.
This article covered the scene of employment in Singapore and the phenomenon where locals are not branding themselves in an appropriate manner to potential employers. It showcased perspectives from several experts in the industries, and I was interviewed to share my perspectives from having coached others in their career and work.
In the article, I shared that there are many job seekers who are not properly equipped with the right interview/resume preparation skills. This is something not specifically limited to fresh graduates – it is also observed among people of other age groups, from 30s to even 50s. As a result, they present themselves in the wrong light, whether it is through their resume where they do not present information succinctly as the employer would want to see it, or during (corporate) interviews when they commit boo-boos like wearing jeans, not giving eye contact, being tongued tied, etc.
Thanks Gabby for the great interview!
